SEMARANG — The academic community of the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM) at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) had a golden opportunity to learn directly from an international expert during a public lecture titled “An Update on Medical Image Processing,” featuring Prof. Geoff Dougherty, Ph.D. from California State University Channel Islands, USA, as the keynote speaker.
This scientific event, which drew significant attention from the academic community, was held in person (onsite) at FSM UNDIP.
In his presentation, Prof. Geoff Dougherty thoroughly explored how developments in Medical Image Processing—such as X-rays, CT Scans, and MRIs—are transforming modern medicine and healthcare, enabling medical professionals to diagnose diseases faster, more accurately, and with greater precision.
